Leslie Lewis concentrates her legal work in cases involving medical malpractice, personal injury, products liability (pharmaceutical), and toxic torts. She is particularly experienced in these fields, having taught nursing at Columbia University and the Medical Center at Princeton University before bringing her experience to the legal profession. For two decades, she worked in marketing and advertising in the pharmaceutical industry. Ms. Lewis' trial experience includes:
- Achieving a $2.5 million verdict in a medical negligence action for failure to diagnose prostate cancer (Leyda v Mehta, M.D. et al, Sup/N.Y., Onondaga County, September 28, 2004)
- Reaching a $400,000 settlement immediately prior to closing argument in a medical negligence action for failure to diagnose breast cancer (Obas v Grappell, M.D., Sup N.Y., Queens County, October 20, 2007)
