Emma Klein
Emma Klein joined the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Firm in 2024 as a law clerk, pending admission to the New York State Bar. Her practice focuses on civil rights and medical malpractice.
Emma graduated from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law School magna cum laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif for graduating at the top 10% of her class. She was given the Dorothy Day Award for her commitment to pro bono work.
During law school she interned for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Education, in the Office of Civil Rights investigating complaints of gender, race, sex, religious, and disability discrimination in schools and the workplace under Title VI and Title VII respectively. Emma also interned with the Civil Justice Clinic, representing domestic violence victims in their family court proceedings. She also previously interned at Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Firm in her final year of law school.
Emma completed her undergraduate studies at Colgate University where she graduated magna cum laude with a BA in psychology. She was part of a research team focusing on how income inequality can impact physical and mental health outcomes, the findings of which were published in the Sage Journal of Psychological Science.
While at Colgate, Emma spent a semester in Argentina studying social movements and human rights.
Emma joined the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Firm because she believes in the importance of advocating for people, and holding accountable the institutions and the individuals we place the most trust in for their wrongdoing.
