Naomi Smith

Naomi joined the Jacob Fuchsberg Law Firm as a paralegal in February 2020 and supports a number of attorneys at the firm, primarily in the areas of medical malpractice, civil rights and mass torts / product liability.

Prior to joining the firm, she was a paralegal at a plaintiffs’ mass tort firm for several years which focused on seeking justice for people injured by defective medical devices and drugs.

Naomi obtained her BA in Sociology from the University of Vermont in 2015 which is where much of her passion for representing the injured and underprivileged stems from. As part of her senior year coursework, she spent time volunteering with the Vermont Department of Corrections and Chittenden County State’s Attorney’s Office within their Rapid Intervention Community Court Program.

Outside of the office, Naomi spends much of her free time volunteering with animal rescues! While working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic, Naomi saw a unique opportunity to begin fostering dogs and now fills different volunteer roles for Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue.
